Central Spain offers great student weather and places us close to our
intended clients. Combine this with our customer centric approach and
we believe we have a winning formula.
Skydiving Weather
For skydivers of all experience levels the prefered conditions are light winds and clear skies. As a student it becomes mandatory that you jump in these more favourable conditions.
Wind speeds are not allowed to exceed the forward speed of your student parachute, which is no more than 14mph. The skydiving weather in the UK and Ireland is particularily challenging for students , which is why we were in 2004 one of the most popular destinations in Europe for student jumpers.
See our article about skydiving and the weather to understand better how the weather effects skydiving.
Central Spain as our chosen location affords us great student weather.
There are no mountain ranges which can cause both relief rainfall and strong winds. We are away from the sea and avoid see breezes and fog . We are not going to make silly claims , we do have the odd bad day here and there , but on the whole our experience is for us ( as skydivers ) most satisfactory.
Lower fees and lower living expenses.
Relative to most EU states the cost of living in Spain is very low. This impacts in general on your food and enterainment expenses (very low if you self cater in our apartments). The lower cost of operation means that our beginner courses are amongst some of the most economical in europe, not only that , but so is jumping general and continutation training. Quality is not sacraficed , it simply costs us less to deliver them and this saving is passed to you. The cost of your solo jumps is up to 50% of the cost of a jump in England for example (including kit hire).
We are close to you.
To fly from the UK (e.g. Manchester , London , Birmingham) you will spend no more than 2 hours flying. From Madrid international we are only 20 minutes by car. This is why many of our students come back again and again. Many have made us their home drop zone and complete additional courses over time. Also of note is that
skydiving is initially quite tiring, shorter travel in advance of your course means you will not spend time recovering from / or fighting jet lag. Skydiving is not rocket science but arriving fresh for the course makes a difference.
One EXPERIENCED Instructor one student

You will not share your instructor with other members in your group or other students. This has a positive impact on your progression on the course as there is not a significant amount of time between your jumps. You will commence your ground school the day you arrive, or the following morning if it is an evening arrival. You will then progress through the course at your pace.
Our Instructors are dedicated to you .
You will not wait for them to finish with another student, nor get all the tandem jumps finished which can be a problem on many drop zones. Some of our graduates have in fact chosen to complete their course with us having started elsewhere. For many time is becoming a more precious commodity. We do not swop and change instructors, this is by some schools done to have a ´fluid´operation , but can be confusing to students who generally like to stick with one instructor start to finish.
