If you have a 10" delay or more achieved in the Static Line system you may convert into our AFF course and only have to complete Levels 3-8.
.
Why convert over to AFF ?
Many people start out on the static line system only to become frustrated with their progress for a variety of reasons. Limited by weather , or by lack of guidance in freefall as you jump on your own, you may want to accelerate your learning by converting over to AFF.
.
Do I skip levels on the AFF programme due to my static line experience ?
Yes, you will still undertake a ground school with your personal AFF instructor , but this generally is more condensed than a normal one due to your experience and previous training. You will the proceed straight to level 3, which is recognised internationally as the convergence of the two systems. ( British Parachute Association and United States Parachute Association )
.
Will my training be recognised ?
There is specific provision in the manuals of the British Parachute Association and United States parachute association for the transfer from one course to the other. You must have completed a 10" delay to transfer. Once moved over to the AFF system , you can not go back to the static line system.
.
What discount to I get of the FFU AFF Course ?
You will save two hundred and twenty pounds ( 300 euros ) in the transfer , as you will not have to complete AFF Level one or two and will proceed straight to level three. If you are unsure if you qualify please contact us for more details.
